You need Islamic finance products and the right tools to look after your home

Getting Islamic finance is really only the beginning. Steering clear of riba is a prerequisite for Sharia compliance and once you get your new home, there’s always something that calls for the handyman’s touch. That said, here’s a quick list of just some of the tools that you’ll need for various jobs around the house.

  • For electrical work, you’ll need a Neon tester that will determine whether a circuit is live or not. It’s important to remember here that the larger jobs need to be handled by professionals, but smaller ones can be done by the average homeowner. A multipurpose tool that can remove insulation from wires is a good idea and diagonal cutting pliers are another handy thing to have in your toolbox.
  • The right tools for plumbing include a toilet auger that has a protective coating to prevent scratching the bowl and a drain and trap auger that extends right into the drain to remove blockages. Of course, it’s a good idea to have plungers on hand as well.

Getting the right tool for the job is what Islamic loans are all about. Once you’re confident that you’re going to be Sharia compliant, it’s a good idea to look at the other tools you’ll need to maintain your home.
