Islamic mortgages and contractors both require research

You’ll find as you go along with the home ownership experience that the process you used for getting Islamic mortgages is quite similar to the one you can employ to hire for a number of other needs you’ll have. For example, there will come a time when you’ll want to update or just renovate some spaces for resale value, because your family is expanding or for a number of other reasons.  Here’s a few criteria you can use to get an excellent contractor to do the job right the first time.

Accreditation.

Although the majority of these professionals are honest, you do need to understand the differences between the ones that have the right training and are serious about the job and those that aren’t. Ask to see the proper license and remember they generally expire yearly. The contractor should have renocationsone for each of the jobs like electrical and heating they will be doing for you.

Contracts .

This is similar to getting Islamic loans in that you need to have everything detailed here. What work will be done, how much it will cost, which ( if any) subcontractors will be used and all the other terms need to be detailed.

Remember you should ask for and expect to see references as well.
