Tackling unfinished home renovation projects? Here’s some handy tips

If you’re like most people, you’ve got more than a few half-finished projects around the house you’d like to get done but just can’t seem to find the time to get around to. We all have the same good intentions we did when we bought Islamic finance products to make sure to stay Sharia compliant and free from riba, but we need a way to organize so we can get to those neglected projects. Here’s a few tips to help with that process.

  1. Take a look at how much time you can realistically spare. It’s easier when you write the numbers down so you can see them. After that, you can take checklistan inventory of all the unfinished jobs you have. Make sure to look in all the closets and in the the back of drawers for things that have been long forgotten.
  2. Next you’ll need to prioritize what you need to do. Writing down the projects on index cards is a great way to put them in order and spreading out the cards in front of you is an excellent technique to get an overview.

When you looked at getting Islamic mortgages, you were thorough and proceeded with care. Use the same techniques when you work with those unfinished projects around the house.
