Here’s A House Hunting Checklist You Can’t Do Without

One thing you don’t want to do when you’re looking for Islamic mortgages is not have all the right information before you start the process. Doing some research about the Islamic finance product that’s suits your budget and needs is the  smart move. The same is true when you’re looking at actually buying a home and having a solid checklist makes that process run smoothly.

You can learn a lot about how well the place has been looked after before you even set foot inside. Make a structure section to the checklist and another subsection for the siding or brickwork. Is the siding still in good shape or has it been left to warp and buckle without any repairs? Does the brickwork look checklist 2like the mortar joints have been patched where necessary over the years?

You need to look at the roof if the weather permits. Check to see if any of the shingles are cracked or warped from a vantage point on the ground if that’s possible. Looking at the drainage around the foundation and the way it slopes can tell you a lot about what you can expect in the basement. Water and melting snow that drain away are less likely to cause leaks. Put your Islamic mortgages to good use by investigating the condition of the property you’re about to buy.
