Islamic home financing doesn’t falter, but here’s some tips for when the power in your home goes out

Of course, Islamic mortgage loans work for Muslim families who want to stay Sharia compliant. Part of the structure of Islamic home financing has to do with a trust keeping people safe from the ravages of riba. Ijara loans are a great way to look after your spiritual health, but you need to make certain the physical self is taken care of especially during a power outage. Here’s a few things you can do when the lights go out in your new home.

  • Have money on hand. If you live in an area where there are storms that knock the power out frequently, it’s a good idea to keep some money home insulationon hand because chances are your local ATM machine won’t be working during a power outage.
  • Layer Up. One of the best bets to remain warm until the power comes back on is to dress appropriately in layers.

As far as food and water goes, it’s a good idea to have one gallon of water per person in your household to get through these temporary emergencies. Nonperishable food items are a good complement to the islamic home financing you already have.
