Islamic sharia law and bathroom floors make a great combination

Owing a home can be an interesting venture and once you’ve owned one for a while and got you feet wet using the islamic finance products that you’ve bought, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t start tackling a few renovation projects to increase your equity and enjoyment of the place. Now while islamic sharia law states that you need to stay away from riba, there’s nothing decreed that states you can work on the bathroom floor to bring it up to standard.

Start by taking a page from history and noting that ceramic tiles go as far back as the Romans, who understood a thing or two about how to best use mortgagethis easy to clean, water and slip resistant material that adds an outstanding decorative element. However, there are a few other items that you can choose from as well and these include:

  • Glass floors that compliment the other bathroom fittings well.
  • Limestone has a clean effect that’s also unique.
  • Wood can be used but there are precautions that need to be taken. For example, this material needs to be set directly into the floor joists so there can be some air circulation to prevent rotting.

Islamic sharia law doesn’t prevent people from owing homes and getting a part of the real estate market.
